On 20-23 June 2017, the School of Management hosted the 13th international decision researchers bi-annual meeting: cognitive expertise in uncertainty (NDM13). Co-chaired by Julie Gore and Paul Ward, the meeting included a doctoral consortium and four-day conference.
Naturalistic decision making research investigates the cognitive challenges linked to making decisions in demanding and uncertain situations.
NDM13 discussed decision-making by professionals in high-risk role. It also examined the skills that make high-level performance of complex tasks possible.
